What’s a Girl To Do?

When she’s having trouble sleeping, didn’t have time to workout in the morning, has helped at her church working bee and is at home, finishing laundry, feeling drained because of issues?

Well, I don’t know what a girl would do but this mother decided to workout. No,.not a hard, kick-ass workout but a fun one. Dancing. Singing. Being corny and camp. Jumping around a bit to increase the impact and the effect.

Which workout? Richard Simmons’ Disco Sweat.

Feel better already!

And maybe I’m setting an example for the kids – feel bad? Workout and release endorphins and worries.

  1. You’re setting a great example! What better strategy to teach against the ‘downs’ than those good old endorphins….laughter…and good clean fun!

  2. You are a dag.(In the nicest possible way, of course.)PamThis should belong in my brother’s record collection. I once had a party where everyone had to bring things they were bad at doing. I brought my photos. My flatmate brought her pottery. We drew horses and had a prize of passionfruit spumante (have you ever had that? It’s AWFUL.)My brother played his records and danced.Pam

  3. I just remembered it – ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’. How could I forget?!? You must remember how I went about the place singing it constantly đŸ™‚

  4. And here I was thinking it was going to be a post on insomnia!! I was going to recommend my commuting audio book of the week, The Hobbit, as a cure!! Or send you some links to ponderously dull legal stuff! But no,you have to make me laugh with Richard Simmons!!! I keep seeing the Spitting Image of QEII singing “One Will Survive” like I always do when Disco is mentioned!!! lol
